A major educational tech company tapped KCI Management based on its reputation for creating compelling international incentive programs for their roster of top-tier clients. KCI jumped into this experience feet-first, understanding several unusual elements: a new client with a new executive who was charged with actualizing the company’s highly anticipated Winner’s Circle program.
Recognizing an opportunity to bring fresh eyes to this Winners’ Circle event, KCI was charged with devising an experience aligned with the new Chief Revenue Officer’s unique vision: a magical three-day adventure infused with tranquility, celebration and grand surprises.
From streamlining travel arrangements for attendees arriving from several different continents – some which involved more than 15 hours of travel time – to incorporating daily elements of “surprise and delight” for each of the 330 guests, the KCI team conquered a number of elements along the way, including a late-stage increase in the number of guests invited which impacted not only accommodation and flights but site venues and dining requirements as well.
With their trademark attention to detail, the KCI team ensured that guests' needs were anticipated moment-by-moment. For instance, cognizant of long travel times, attendees were met at the airport with cool towels and ice cold water within their private transport. As well, guests were delighted by unexpected gifts such as top-of-the-line sunglasses, beach towels and water bottles in their rooms along with a personal letter from the Chief Revenue Officer welcoming them to the destination.
The outcome
Leveraging two decades of strategically planned incentive trips across myriad channels, KCI crafted a program that exceeded the expectations of both attendees and company executives. Outcomes include:

82% of attendees rated the final concert dinner as “outstanding”
